We have a brand new year waiting to be written. As always, we look to this year with hope and expectation. 2020 was a tumultuous year, but ironically an amazing year of ministry for us. Thank you for helping to make that possible!

On February 2nd we welcomed our new granddaughter Sophia Elena Araya Milbrodt… Yes…princesses have long names! Olivia, 4 years old now, has been promoted to “Big Sis.” Jeremy and Sonya are doing a great job ministering with us in Thailand as they grow a beautiful family. We are excited to meet our little princess. Thank God for technology, video chats, etc., but we want to hold that baby!

Cathy and I will be returning to Thailand soon… Travel restrictions, new visa requirements and quarantines make things a bit more complicated (and expensive) but you just keep jumping through the hoops and do what you have to do. We are excited to soon be getting back with the team in Thailand. Mom and Dad have been gone too long!

Solar Project Update … We had a great response to our year end project and were able to fully fund the installation of solar power system at the Main Compound in Doi Saket and our Mae La Noi Children’s Home compound. We are working on raising the last 25K to get the system installed for the Ban Den Children’s Home compound. The installation of solar power systems is a giant step forward for us. Thanks to all our partners who stepped up and gave a special gift to see this happen.

An Amazing Year In The Making … I confess that I am somewhat an eternal optimist. I have found that our outlook in life determines much of our outcome in life. Many of us are facing challenges, problems and obstacles like never before. Circumstances change but the Rock of our Salvation is constant. Keep your eyes on Jesus, look for good and expect God to move on your behalf. This just might turn out to be an amazing year!

“Being confident of this very thing, that He Who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6

God Bless You Richly
