We passed a milestone in 2024, surpassing 260 churches built and dedicated in Thailand. On any given weekend over 50,000 people will attend these churches. We dedicated our 262nd church in January 2025…we are on our way to 300.
It’s Planting Time … To everything there is a season and this is Church Planting Season. We have a stack of applications for church construction projects. Our graduates and ministry colleagues continue to reach further and further planting churches and expanding the Kingdom of God.
Double Matching Gift Opportunity … For every $5000 we can raise for a new church plant, the ICM organization double matches the gift. A typical church can range anywhere from $20,000 for a very basic structure to $40,000 or more depending on size and style. These are costs of materials only as we get most labor costs donated. Anything above the $15,000 we sow into the project, we require the congregation to get skin in the game and provide the remaining costs.
Each Project Is A Miracle To Behold … When we present our total investment in the project to be capped at 15K, most congregations don’t think they can handle the rest. That is where our very talented and quite persuasive Church Project Manager comes in. His name is Brathip. Brathip has been with us for 38 years now and has been involved in every one of the 262 church projects we have completed. Brathip encourages them to trust God and step out in faith. In case after case, we have seen God move. When the project is launched the people get excited and give financially and through “sweat equity.” Other churches sow gifts to help and we have even seen other denominations sow seed in these projects. Mind you, we are in a nation with less than 2% Christian…the Body of Christ must stick together.
It Starts With A Seed … The whole process is dependent on the $5000 seed to get things rolling. Could you plant a seed for another church to be built? Even a partial seed would help. We have the capacity to build 15 churches a year…we just need the seed money to get them started.
