It has been pouring rain here in Thailand every day. Monsoon Season came a bit early this year. The mountains and lands are lush and green. Deuteronomy 11:14 says, “Then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine and your oil.” We are also seeing an early and latter rain spiritual harvest.
The Tossing of The Caps … The 2025 graduating class of Living Word Ministries Bible School recently had their graduation ceremony. What a privilege to see 32 graduates cross the floor having completed their biblical studies. These men and women chose to learn and grow more in their faith in a country that is predominantly Buddhist or animist (spirit worship.) They have chosen to dedicate their lives to serving others and spreading the Gospel. Glory to God!
The Harvest Being Reaped… Charlie and Cathy came to Thailand with a vision God placed in their hearts…they did not know what the future would bring. They started the Bible School with humble beginnings, but a passion for the people and getting the Gospel out to them. We saw the fruit of that at the graduation ceremony this year. Mr. Paitoon, an Alumnus from the very first class 39 years ago, shared with the graduates his testimony. After graduation he served as Evangelism Director for over 100 churches for 22 years. He then went into politics and serves the Governor of Mae Hong Son Province, while still serving in the Body of Christ. What an honor to witness a fruitful life dedicated to the Lord and His perfect calling.
Here Comes the Next Gen … This year we have 30 second year students and 36 first year students. With only a month of study under their belt, the first-year students have witnessed a mighty move of the Spirit and lives are changing. Second year students are deepening their relationship with the Lord. Nothing beats watching the Holy Spirit do His transformation work in the lives of His people. Through these students, we will see the Nation of Thailand transformed.
Jeremy’s Perspective … As the director of the Bible School, it has been a privilege to witness the school flourishing these past five years. The Lord has changed many students’ lives, helping them set a strong foundation in their spiritual lives through their dedication to the Word and their many classes and opportunities for outreach. We believe that they will continue to not only impact their families, but their communities as well. We are here to equip and empower them to share the love of Christ with Thailand and its people. Our passion is to raise up the next generation in the Word; getting young people settled and established in their commitment to Christ.
