Thailand is FINALLY open for business. Travel restrictions have been removed and people are coming again! If Covid taught us anything, it taught us that people need people. God created us with the capacity for communication and relationships. Of course, that is where life gets tricky…but the results are worth the efforts.
Our First Visitors Arrived … It has been 2 ½ years since we had a short term missions team visit us in Thailand. 2020 would have been our Banner Year for teams as we had ten teams scheduled throughout the year. Only one team made it before Covid lockdowns hit back in 2020.
Short Term Teams Are Vital … Projects get done, people are touched and lives are transformed. Over the years we have perfected our Short Term Team Strategy. The results are exceptional experiences for our students, staff, children, visitors and the multitudes they reach out to.
Widow Living On $15/month Welfare Gets New Home … Her husband died years ago, she never had children and lacked basic skills. She lived in a shack with leaking roof and no toilet. That all changed when we agreed to build her a house utilizing a team from southern California. The team, predominantly young people, sacrificed to get here. Soaring ticket prices necessitated additional fund raisers to even get out of the USA, but they made it and it was all worth it. This obviously blessed the little widow lady, but it will forever impact the lives of these eleven youthful mission adventurers.
Villagers Who Never Had Toilets Get Toilets … Remote villages only accessible by trekking or 4-wheel drive vehicles don’t even have basic toilet facilities. Numerous outreaches with short term teams and our youth group has changed all of that. They not only received toilets for every house, but they received the love of Jesus through the lives of our students and missions adventurers. The results…villages opening to the gospel, lives being changed.
You Have Heard It Said … ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
It’s Not Rocket Science Folks…people respond to the love of God. Thank you for being a part of this ministry. Together We Are Getting The Job Done!
God Bless You Richly…
